Scaling High Performance Teams
Project Overview
Nike's ED&A department expanded significantly, scaling to 32 Scrum teams. New policies mandated increasing workloads for Scrum Masters from two to three teams per Master, raising concerns about effective coaching and inter-team connectivity. Our task was to maintain coaching quality and boost interactions between teams under these new constraints. We developed a creative, interactive game supplemented by workshops and targeted training. This innovative approach placed learning in the hands of the teams, encouraging them to proactively address backlog commitments. As a result, teams became actively engaged, fostering healthy competition and significantly improving collaboration within the department.
